Pokémon Black & White – Transfer Method Mentioned

Hidden away within CoroCoro’s page about Celebi & Zorua in Black & White, there is a screenshot that gives some minor details about the transfer method. In the games, there is a machine called the Pokémon Transfer Machine (転送マシンでポケモン). The screenshot simply states that Celebi is being transferred through the Pokémon Transfer Machine. This appears to be the method of transferring the Pokémon from your 4th Generation games to your 5th Generation ones. This is to be done over the standard local wireless and appears to be one at a time. It is necessary to send Celebi & the shiny beasts obtained from the 13th movie over to Black & White to obtain Zorua & Zoroark. It is currently unknown if there are any limits to the Pokémon Transfer Machine similar to the original Pal Park restrictions in Diamond & Pearl
The official site also elaborates into the C Gear. It also shows on the menu and in the C-Gear that there are three methods of communication; Wireless, WiFi and IR (InfaRed) and you can use the C Gear with all three. These options are shown in the battle menu so it’ll be able to tell when you’re battling in any of those. These options are running while you’re in actual gameplay as opposed to in a Union Room. To what extent, is not yet known.
In addition to that, the preview page for CoroCoro simply states that it will contain a variety of new bits of information, some pertaining to the adventure. It does not go into specifics.

Mc Donalds/Wi-Fi Nintendo Zone Jirachi Event Japanese Pokemon Platinum/Pearl/Diamond

This Jirachi was given away from June 19th to July 17th via Mystery Gift at participating McDonald`s locations across Japan. You could also download the Jirachi with Wi-Fi connection.

It’s recommended that you transfer this Jirachi to the new pokemon versions Soul Silver en Heart Gold.

It’s the real thing, so don’t say it’s hacked or something, because it isn’t.

Star Fox Assault Playthrough (Gold Difficulty) Part 3, 1/2

Sargasso

Another one of my favorite levels, because it’s so huge, it’s fun to just explore the place. Again, didn’t really -try- to get the badge here, but I do have it on this level, as well as every other level BUT the last one. I sped up the epic space battle in the middle because it didn’t really pertain to the main mission, I wanted to shorten the video, and it sounds silly to boot.

Primary Mission:
Destroy all Transfer Devices inside of the base.

Secondary Mission:
Destroy all battleships and fighters outside of the base.

Boss:
Team Star Wolf

Level Strategy for Badge:
Another on-foot level, you must stick with the “shoot as many enemies as you can, as fast as you can” technique again. Before you grab the sniper rifle and/or homing missile, take out the generators that throw the barrels down the ramps with a halfway-charged blaster shot, (it doesn’t have to be fully charged, a blue laser works fine on these). After you acquire said weapons, use them instead so you don’t have to wait for a charge to build up.

Memorize where different enemies are, this helps when you want to breeze through them without losing your combo. When the time comes when you absolutely -must- use your arwing to get rid of enemy fighters and battleships, waste no time shooting them down so you don’t lose much of a combo. If you need heavier firepower than the wimpy single laser, an upgrade is on the side of the hideout itself, next to a window. You should be able to see a transfer device on the other side of that window, if you haven’t already destroyed it. Another power up is on top of the hideout, in a little tunnel-ish area. The battleships take 2 charge shots in their weak points to destroy, so make sure your shot is locked onto -it-, instead of a fighter passing by.

Once you clear the battleships, head back inside. Chances are, your combo is gone by the time Fox steps out of the arwing. That’s okay, find the tunnel that leads to the homing missile, gold health pack, and gatling gun (there are 3 barrel generators along this path, be careful), then proceed with the mission. Once you destroy all but 2 transfer devices, equip the gatling gun and head up the elevator. Take out everyone you can until the gun’s ammo runs out.

When you arrive at the room with the sliding doors, place a sensor bomb between the doors. When they close, the bomb will explode, killing at least 8 enemies every time. Destroy the last device in there, and Star Wolf will appear. Take care of them quickly, and abide by the tips given here, and you should have the Gold badge in no time.

Boss Strategy:
While team Star Wolf isn’t so much as a boss rather than a mission in itself, they’re still a pain in the tail if you don’t know how to properly take them down. First and foremost, take out the single battleship here, as it will keep launching little fighters until you do. Then, go for either Wolf or Panther first. About 3, 4, or 5 charge shots should do the trick, depending on how long the laser’s been charging. Be careful, and do a loop if you see a laser hit you from behind. Take down Leon last, as he has an erratic flight pattern that’s difficult to follow.

Krystal and Falco will ask for help during this fight, so be on your toes to save them. Krystal will fly around the base while being chased, and Falco will fly away from Leon, towards Wolf as he’s being chased.
Difficulty: ***

I originally did NOT intend for this to be two videos, but just as I was about to destroy the last transfer device, my camera batteries died. I only noticed this about a few seconds after I destroyed the device, which is why the second video starts with Fox facing the opposite direction. Don’t worry, not much was missed. The transfer device was destroyed and I grabbed an extra life in the few seconds you don’t see between videos. Enjoy!

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum Migrating Tutorial

I show you how to migrate Pokemon from the GBA Pokemon games. Remember, you’ll need to have the National Dex first:

Diamond/Pearl:
Just see all 150 Sinnoh Dex Pokemon [not including Manaphy, he's #151] and then go to Professor Rowan’s lab. I won’t spoil it for you but simply put, you’ll get the National Dex there.

Platinum:
Same as above, except it’s 210 now, instead of 150. There’s some sneaky ones so check out http://serebii.net/platinum/nationaldex.shtml for more info.

People with flash cards may like to try this patch: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=1984

Please check out serebii.net and the other comments before asking any questions, as you will most likely find your answer without my help.

How To Enter Friend Codes in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum

One question I frequently get asked is “How do I enter FCs?”.

So I decided to make a video on how to do it.

First, you’ll need a Pal Pad. You’ve probably already got it; if you don’t, you need to explore more..

You get it by going into the basement of a Pokemon Center. Once you go down the stairs, the person will immediately call out to you and drag you over and give you the Pal Pad.

To access it, open your Bag and go to Key Items, then select it from the menu.

To register a Friend Code, select “Register”. You can put anything as the name, so all you need is the Friend Code.

(It looks a little different between Platinum and Diamond/Pearl, but it’s mostly the same)

After you’re entered the name, enter the code and it’ll prompt you if the info is correct.

If a number is wrong, it’ll usually tell you. If you’ve already entered the number, it’ll say so.

If it works, it’ll just accept it.

You can check by going to Friend Roster. It’s like a phone book. Flip around and you can see who you have entered.

You can only enter 32 codes until you’ll have to delete some… it sounds like a lot but it really isn’t..

In order for you to connect with your friend, you MUST give them your own code to enter, otherwise it won’t work.

To find your code, go to (Name)’s Code.

But what if you don’t have it yet?

You must first connect online for the first time, by going to the counter I mention in the video – the one in the middle.

It’ll then give you your code, and you can check it again later by going to what I just mentioned above.

However, you must use this same game and DS to connect the next time, otherwise you won’t be able to go online UNLESS you want to be issued another code.

There is a way around this and that is to transfer your Nintendo WFC Data to a new DS, but that’s another story for another video for another day.

Good luck.

DISCLAIMER:

I do not own the music used in this video. It is being used in a purely fan-based manner and to promote the artist’s music.
