  16. I think this song …
I think this song is aimed at all those (mostly American)TV evangelists whose shows usually feature a premuium rate number, and the types of credit cards they accept, scrolling across the bottom of the screen. I’m sure there are genuine ones out there but some have also been caught red-handed…

  17. There have been …
There have been problems with ministries in the past. The Bakers for example, but with the tax checks put to most ministries now the problems are starting to diminish. For some less tolerance and more gospel evangilists try Joyce Myers, John Hagee, Joel O’Steen (a little more motivational but still a good listen to, and Benny Hinn (his healing practice is though contriversial but my family has experienced it so I’ll defend it to the very end).

Discern don’t just sterotype them all

  18. Unfortunately, most …
Unfortunately, most of the TV programs sound more like the intolerance hour rather than the gospel hour. Very little time is spent giving the pure gospel. And what about all those preachers crying poverty while living in 10,000 square foot mansions, driving $100K cars and flying around in private jet planes? Too much of this is financed by people who can least afford it. When these preachers are questioned about this, they get mad and refuse to have a discussion with you. IS THIS CHRISTIAN?

  21. Not all TV …
Not all TV Evangilists are in it for the money. It takes several 100,000 dollars to keep their shows on the air for a full year. Not to mention they have to pay their staffs and they deserve a pay check to. Finally most of them have ministries that need to be finaced. They do mission work all over the world and here at home. You’re right Christians need to be careful and check the money flows for the evangilists, but we also shouldn’t discount a minister because they are on television.

  25. I am one Christian …
I am one Christian who opposes this so called deception in the name of God. I’m quite sure that God is not amused by these so called messengers of his. They are not serving the true God. Snake oil salesmen would be a more appropriate name for them. If they were using these tactics selling stocks or bonds they would find themselves in prison for fraud and misrepresentation. All Christians must be more diligent in discerning things so that they will not be bilked of their money by these crooks.

  26. Some mention Benny Hinn as an inspired preacher.
But is he a true prophet? In the past, and this is on record,he claimed inspiration and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to tell the world that Fidel Catro would die “in the nineties”.
At the same time as Castro passing, Benny “prophesied”, all the homosexuals in the USA would be destroyed “by the fire of God”. Man,
that is a mass slaughter! Did it happen? Look at Deuteronomy 18:20-22.
